Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will face Delhi Capitals (DC) in their ninth league match of IPL 2025. The match will take place at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
Earlier in the tournament, DC defeated LSG in Visakhapatnam on March 24. Ashutosh Sharma played a match-winning knock, scoring an unbeaten half-century. As a result, DC successfully chased 210 runs in 19.3 overs, losing nine wickets. Now, Ashutosh will look to repeat his performance and help DC complete the double over LSG.
Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals are coming off a tough loss. They fell to Gujarat Titans by seven wickets on Saturday, April 19. In contrast, LSG pulled off a narrow win against Rajasthan Royals. They won by just two runs in Jaipur.
In the previous match, Aiden Markram and Ayush Badoni impressed with half-centuries for LSG. Therefore, home fans will hope captain Rishabh Pant delivers a strong performance. Notably, Pant scored a fifty at the Ekana Stadium earlier this season against CSK.
